Video playing ad in a print magazine

Bodycopy:

CBS embedded a video player in a print ad in September issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine. Plays full motion video at a crisp resolution with good audio quality.

Works like one of those audio greeting cards. Opening the page activates the player which is a screen seen through a cutaway between two pages concealing the larger circuit board underneath.

The special promotion will appear only in a small subset of circulation, some subscriptions delivered to New York and Los Angeles.

Looks like we still have a long way to go to the streaming updates in the newspapers form "Minority Report". However, this might be interesting for milestome events like e.g. movie launch promotions?
