There’s no place like Hirschkulturerbe!
It looks as if the days of gossiping stags are finally numbered. Jägermeister – the iconic German liquer manufacturer – has parted with their equally iconic advertising stags Rudi & Ralph.
But fans of the duo will have a new “off the wall” place to see and visit them. Those who are at first glance not confused by the appearance of a “404 not found” page, will engage in a digital stag hunt. Rudi & Ralph’s hiding place? The idyllic “Hirschkulturerbe” (stag cultural heritage site). If you’re lucky – or patient – you will glimpse Rudi & Ralph, now blissfully retired, roaming free. When they do show up, expect the unexpected: everyday retirement life, munching on grass, sleeping and territorial pissing.
Don’t be fooled by the bliss though, as Syzygy, the ad agency responsible, has added some special “hotkey” features. So, dude, should you get lost in the peaceful surroundings that are the Hirschkulturerbe, twitter about it – not about jacko.
