A few weeks ago, we met Marcel at a panel discussion in Hamburg about “Social TV” where some “Makers” presented their ideas and discussed what is happening in the area of “Social TV”. As the SYZYGY Lab is always looking out for new developments, we decided to present Tweek, which is Marcel’s and his team’s project.

Google has just launched the amazing Chrome Web Lab, a collaborative project based in the Science Museum in London.

It brings the magic of the internet into the physical world through five experiments, open to everyone online, but also live in the Science Museum, London.

The Lab for Electronic Arts and Performance (Berlin) presents Coded Landscapes: an exhibition featuring work by New York-based artist Charlotte Becket and Berlin based Andreas Nicolas Fischer.

ReFunct Media is a multimedia installation that (re)uses numerous “obsolete” electronic devices (digital and analogue media players and receivers). These devices are hacked, misused and combined into a large and complex chain of elements. To use an ecological analogy they “interact” in different symbiotic relationships such as mutualism, parasitism and commensalism.

John Wood and Paul Harrison have been working collaboratively since 1993 producing single screen and installation based video works.
